Virtual Friend is a very strange song to me. It sounds pretty happy, but the lyrics are possibly the saddest lyrics that I've ever written (to me). It's written from the viewpoint of someone who has recently moved, and really has no life in the new place they live. It goes on to say that everything that they held dear only lives on the internet.
